{"id":381,"date":"2017-12-12T21:09:17","date_gmt":"2017-12-12T20:09:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/reseau-mesure.fr\/?page_id=381"},"modified":"2025-12-05T14:58:33","modified_gmt":"2025-12-05T13:58:33","slug":"securite-routiere-et-eco-conduite","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.reseau-mesure.com\/en\/securite-routiere-et-eco-conduite\/","title":{"rendered":"road safety and Eco-Driving"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>\n\t\t\t\tROAD SAFETY AND ECO-DRIVING The Road and the Company\n\t\t<\/h1>\n\t<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>As part of the work of the \u201cThe Road and the Company\u201d group, the R\u00e9seau Mesure and the CIFL offer their members road safety training at discounted rates.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>A few figures to better understand<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Professional road risk is the 1<sup>time<\/sup> cause of fatal accident at work.<\/li>\n<li>50% of those killed on the job are on the road.<\/li>\n<li>70 days: average duration of a work stoppage with temporary incapacity following a traffic accident.<\/li>\n<li>Work stoppages following a traffic accident are 1.5 times the average duration of a work stoppage.<\/li>\n<li>The cost of a road traffic accident on a mission is 3 times higher than the average cost of a work accident.<\/li>\n<li>90% road accidents at work are due to unsuitable human behavior.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>What are the consequences for the company?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Human: Loss of human capital \/ loss of key man \/ loss of skills.<\/li>\n<li>Financial: Road accidents cause direct and indirect costs (often 2 to 3 times greater).<\/li>\n<li>Legal: The road risk for an employee on assignment is a professional risk. Like all occupational risks, the latter must be the subject of an assessment and be recorded in the single document (Article L4221-1 and R4121-1 of the Labor Code).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For the companies of the Measurement Network and CIFL, the road risk is identified in their single document as a major risk.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\t<p><b>charter <\/b><b>for the<\/b> <b>Safety and Prevention of Road Risks<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The profession of Laboratory Suppliers and Measurement professionals has around 50 % of itinerants, particularly in commercial or after-sales services. Road safety is therefore an important safety measure for employees in our sector of activity.<\/p>\n<p>The Interprofessional Committee of Laboratory Suppliers and the Measurement Network have thus drawn up this Charter for Road Safety and Risk Prevention in order to make all companies and their employees aware of good road and eco-driving practices.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\t<ul>\n<li>4
