We are currently looking for an Itinerant Technical Salesperson who will be responsible for the western sector of France (Brittany, Pays de la Loire, Lower Normandy, Center and Poitou Charente). The position is based in the Saint-Christophe-du-Bois branch, 40 minutes from Nantes, 5 minutes from Cholet.

Missions :

Reporting to the France Sales Manager, the person will be in charge of the following tasks:

  • Prospect and develop existing clientele and respond to incoming requests
  • Highlight our promotional offers
  • Retain your client portfolio
  • Arrange face-to-face and telephone appointments
  • Qualify and regularly update prospect/customer databases
  • Characterize a need, advise customers and provide relevant and adapted solutions
  • Write reports, letters and minutes of visits
  • Write and monitor your offers (make reminders, ensure collection, etc.)
  • Maintain your network of relationships: external and internal customers / suppliers, in particular by participating in trade fairs and professional events in France and abroad
  • Participate in the development of the business plan that you will carry out
  • Work in close collaboration with the various departments (sales, after-sales service, planning,
  • application…)
  • Report on your activity through the various reporting files

The profile sought:

  • Technical and / or commercial training (BAC + 2 minimum) you ideally have a successful experience in metrology or in the automotive / aeronautics industry.
  • You are naturally endowed with an ease in the context of technical and commercial discussions and have a taste for contact and human relations.
  • Pragmatic and rigorous, you are able to analyze technical documents and master the calculations of margins and percentages for the drafting of offers.
  • Spirit of initiative, proactivity, autonomy and ability to work in a team are important assets for this position.
  • Knowledge of a CRM (Salesforce type) and operational English would be a plus for your application.
  • This position requires frequent travel to your region (valid B permit required).
