Urban water valuation workshop, ponds and swimming pools, soil infiltration and retention - November 18 afternoon

In the continuity of the workshops offered by the EMS IDF Cluster since 2018 on the subject of water, and in the evocation of many needs by our members, we are offering a new event on the valuation of urban water: rainwater, mine water, or even basin water, to build together the resilient city of tomorrow. It will be a question of being able to discuss together the needs of public and private actors, and to present innovative feedback in the field.

These exchanges will make it possible to answer in whole or in part the following questions:

• What are the needs of the urban water sector today (excluding wastewater)? Can we quantify them?
• How to integrate the objectives of urban resilience in the management of these waters? What are the brakes and levers encountered in the various projects?
• What solutions and innovations could be proposed to meet the expressed needs?

Resources at the scale of the Greater Paris Metropolis and maps of valuation solutions will be presented

for a global and metropolitan vision of flows, valuation channels and the mapping of solutions

4:00 p.m .: Round table of projects  

4 territorial feedbacks or projects on transport infrastructure and on completed or ongoing urban operations will be presented

Testimonies and feedback from the territories, and from public and private companies concerning the integration of innovative and experimental alternatives for the valorization of urban water to contribute to the resilient city and to the strengthening of nature in the city.
