The National Office for Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) is the pillar of the energy strategy and the armed wing of the State in the drinking water and liquid sanitation sector in Morocco.
Since the mid-1990s, the Office has been actively involved in the generalization of access to electricity and drinking water, the purification of wastewater and the development of the liquid sanitation service, modernization and expansion of networks for the production, marketing and distribution of electric and hydraulic resources, as well as at the level of the fight against waste and the implementation of new instruments and techniques for saving water and 'electricity…
As part of the development of new projects, the NATIONAL OFFICE OF ELECTICITY AND WATER is partnering with the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Morocco (CFCIM) to source new French companies interested in the markets Africans in the drinking water and liquid sanitation production sectors.
Drinking water project:
  • Dioxins and furans monitoring / control systems;
  • Strengthening of the drinking water production of the Oujda-Taourirt system from the Mohamed V - Machraa Hammadi complex at a cost of 1.2 billion DH including tax;
  • Reinforcement of the drinking water supply of Meknes from the Ouljate Soltane dam at a cost of 1 billion DH including tax;
  • Strengthening of the drinking water supply to the towns of Laattaouia, ElKelaa des Sraghna and neighboring centers from the Rocade irrigation canal at a cost of 345 MDH including tax;
  • Strengthening and securing the drinking water supply to the city of Taza and the region from the Bab Louta dam at a cost of 420 MDH including tax;
  • Strengthening of the drinking water supply to the towns of rommani and Oulmès from the future Tiddas dam at a cost of MAD 300 million including tax;
  • Reinforcement of the drinking water supply of the city of Es-semara by demineralization at a cost of 80 MDH including tax;
  • Construction of a seawater intake to strengthen the drinking water supply to the city of Laayoune by desalination at a cost of MAD 300 million including tax
  • Needs :
  • Engineering, design and consulting offices, equipment (tanks, valves, pipes, support collars, piping, valves, etc.) Chemical products for water treatment; technical assistant, desalination systems.
Liquid Sanitation Project:
  • Construction of a wastewater treatment plant for the towns of Ksar Sghir and Ksar Majaz at a cost of 46 MDH including tax;
  • Drying of sludge from the treatment plant in the city of Nadore at a cost of 35 MDH including tax;
  • Realization of a liquid sanitation network and a purification station for the city of Sidi Bouathmane at a cost of 35 MDH including tax;
  • Reinforcement of the liquid sanitation network of the city of Guercif and realization of the extension of the purification station at a cost of 48 MDH including tax;
  • Rehabilitation and extension of the liquid sanitation network in the city of Boulemane and construction of a new purification station at a cost of MAD 60 million including tax;
  • Rehabilitation and extension of the liquid sanitation network in the city of Tiznit and completion of the extension and rehabilitation of the wastewater treatment plant at a cost of 102.5 MDH including tax
Needs :
  • Technical assistance ; low cost domestic wastewater treatment systems, low energy consumption wastewater treatment systems; sewage sludge drying technologies.
