Geosourced construction materials from excavated soil
March 21, 2024 | 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
The Eau Milieux Sols Paris Ile-de-France Cluster is supported by its members, the Ile-de-France Region, ADEME and the Grand Orly Seine Bièvre territory to structure the regional sector for the treatment and valorization of excavated soil and sediments , meeting the objectives of PRPGD of Ile-de-France. Its ambition is to promote innovation and to be able to remove the obstacles in this sector linked in particular to the identification of the deposit (quality and quantity), to the land available for their storage and treatment, as well as that linked to possible outlets and to land needs. The Ile-de-France Regional Waste Prevention and Management Plan sets a production objective of earth-based materials of 0.1 million tonnes in 2025 and 0.4 million tonnes by 2030 The PRPGD monitoring report mentions “a change of scale and an industrial transition of this material which corresponds to a strong logic of circular economy. »
