Subgroup 2- ISO17025 standardization – Thursday October 5 at 4:00 p.m.

05/10/2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

ISO17025 standardization working group meeting

ISO 17025 is an essential standard for laboratories to help them harmonize their procedures and methods. This harmonization facilitates coordination between laboratories and other organizations.

Historically, the standardization of laboratory activities was initiated by ISO/IEC Guide 25, published in 1990, the result of collaboration between the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). In 1999, the first ISO 17025 standard was published based on ISO/IEC Guide 25, then revised in 2005 and 2017.
